I have been taking pictures for as long as I can remember and I refined my appetite for photography at Central Saint Martins, before shooting professionally. I look to take photographs that are powerful in their simplicity, whether that be with people or action scenarios and my one piece of advice for anybody with a camera in hand is "look up".
Aside from shooting live music, events, and people, I have numerous ongoing projects such as Smoke Break, Stage Door, and Abandoned Christmas Trees. I've also got a home studio, where shoots can take place in a more controlled environment.

Outside of photography, I hold a creative writing degree and I was thrilled to publish my debut poetry collection, Molehills And Coffee Spills, in December 2020.
Soul-baring and searingly honest, Aspell warmly leads you into his world of astute observations, declarations of love and acts of self-preservation.In this charming collection you’ll find smiles, laughter, and maybe even a tear. These poems are achingly beautiful and, while everybody has their own unique experience of the world around them, they manage to capture intimate moments in a way that means you’ll recognise yourself in the words.
